ohmygod. i just discovered that one of the best books of all time has been made to a movie.
ang nakakainis nga lang, i discovered super-late. it's already going to shown on the 1st of june! and to think that i knew the show date of hp4 the morning it was announced!
plus, i'm having this sort-of conflict. like the one i had a year ago with hp3. it was going to be shown june 3, so i was really looking forward to it. but i couldn't *totally* look forward to it, since classes were going to start the monday after that. which totally sucks. why can't they show really good films in the middle of *our* summer vacation? can't they, like, show it here first since our summer vacation comes before theirs? plus, i'm not even sure they're showing it here, only assuming. (i didn't have time to look it up yet.) but i really wish they would.
haven't mentioned the book yet, have i? it's the sisterhood of the traveling pants, the one i borrowed from joyce (aj's sister, not the constipated bitch from grade school).
so the actresses portraying the girls are amber tamblyn (joan from joan of arcadia) as tibby, the rebel with a cause; america ferrera (from i-don't-know-where-but-i've-seen-her-somewhere-before) as carmen, the 'glue' that holds the sisterhood together; alexis bledel (rory from gilmore girls) as the beauty of the group who'd much rather be known for her art than her looks; and that blonde girl that i don't know as bridget, the bright, bold, big-hearted athlete of the group.
